This Privacy Policy describes how the Invento app (“Application”) collects, uses, stores, and protects user information.
The Application is operated by Marcelo Barce (“we”, “our”, or “developer”). If you have any questions, please contact us at marcelobarce@live.com.
1. Information We Collect
The Application may collect and process the following information:
Account and authentication data: display name, email address, and password registered to access the Application.
Profile data: information provided by the user during registration or while using the app, such as display name, gender, and linked organizations.
Operational app data: information entered to use the inventory features, such as products, categories, suppliers, identifiers, tags, prices, stock, sales, exchanges, movement history, and data related to the organization of operations.
Invitation and collaboration data: invitee emails, roles, permissions, and records of acceptance, refusal, or cancellation of invitations to organizations.
Data stored locally on the device: basic usage preferences, such as information required to remember app states and simple settings.
2. How We Use the Information
We use the collected information to:
create and manage user accounts;
authenticate access to the Application;
allow the registration, editing, and viewing of inventory items;
record movements, history, and analytical data related to inventory use;
allow the management of organizations, users, invitations, profiles, and permissions;
maintain the operation, security, and integrity of the Application;
provide user support and respond to requests.
3. Storage and Processing Basis
Application data may be stored and processed by third-party infrastructure providers used to operate the service, including:
Firebase Authentication, for user authentication;
Cloud Firestore, for storing and synchronizing Application data.
These services are provided by Google and may process data on servers located in different countries, according to the provider’s infrastructure.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell users’ personal data.
Data may only be shared:
with infrastructure providers essential to the operation of the Application, such as Google/Firebase services;
with other users of the same organization, when necessary to enable collaboration, inventory management, history, and permission features;
when required by law, regulation, court order, or a valid request from a competent authority;
to protect rights, safety, and prevent fraud or misuse of the Application.
5. Data the App Does Not Directly Collect
According to the current implementation of the Application, it does not directly request sensitive permissions such as:
precise location;
camera;
microphone;
contacts;
SMS;
personal files from the device.
The Application also does not display ads and does not use its own advertising SDK in the current implementation.
6. Data Retention
We retain data for as long as necessary to:
provide the Application’s features;
maintain the operational history of organizations;
comply with legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations;
resolve disputes and prevent fraud.
Data may be removed or anonymized when it is no longer necessary, subject to technical, legal, and operational limitations.
7. Security
We adopt reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or improper disclosure. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. User Rights
Where applicable, users may request:
access to their data;
correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data;
deletion of personal data, subject to legal obligations and operational limitations;
information about the processing of their data.

9. Account and Data Deletion
If the user wishes to request the deletion of their account or data associated with the Application, they may contact us at marcelobarce@live.com.
If there is data linked to organizations, operational history, legal obligations, or records necessary for the security and integrity of the service, part of this information may be retained for the strictly necessary period.
10. Privacy of Children and Teenagers
The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age and is not developed with the intention of knowingly collecting personal data from children. If we identify inadvertent collection, we will take reasonable measures to delete such data.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The most recent version should be made available at the address provided by the developer and/or through the official channels of the Application.
